The island of Antiparos is separated from Paros by a narrow strip between the sea andallCyclades islands is notable for its golden sandy beaches and the sheer natural beauty.There are numerous beaches that overlook a beautiful sea blue-green waters and watersrich in fish and other marine life. In summer you can reach the island from Parikia orPunta, using a kayak.
The city of Antiparos and excursions
The capital, Antiparos or Kastro, is built around the original core of the medieval castle.Thecenter of attraction of the island is the famous cave with stalactites on Agios Ioannishill, at whose entrance stands the church of Agios Ioannis Spiliotis.From Agios Georgios see, sea destination in the Gulf of Despotiko, and Soros quaintsmalltown about 9 miles south of Kastro.
Around Antiparos, there are dozens of deserted islets, similar to marine outposts, full ofrabbits and pigeons that can be reached by renting a boat.
